Full branding for Old Fashioned Marbella

A cocktail bar that didn't exist. No name, no logo, not a single photo. In three months, we built the complete identity of Old Fashioned — and Marbella already knows it.

The context

Marbella had bars. It lacked a cocktail bar with soul.

Marbella is a city with plenty of leisure options, but little identity. There are places to have a drink on every corner — but few where the experience begins before your first cocktail is served. Where the logo, the menu, the music, the lighting, and even the coaster tell the same story.

That was precisely what three partners wanted to create. A venue with its own character, with a recognisable aesthetic and an experience thought out to the last detail. Something that central Marbella didn't have yet.

The challenge

Born and appearing consolidated from the first night

When a local venue opens with no history, no followers, and no reviews, it has one chance to make a first impression. The first customers who walk in, the first to search on Google, the first to see an Instagram post – they all judge in seconds whether that place is worth their time or not.

The challenge was to build an identity so solid and coherent that Old Fashioned would feel like a benchmark from day one. Not as something new that's trying its best – but as a place that knows exactly what it is.

What we have done

We started from scratch, we only had the name and a conversation with the three partners to understand what they wanted to convey and who they wanted to reach.

From there, we built the rest: the brand concept, the logo, and a complete visual system applied to every touchpoint. The physical menu, the digital menu, the cards, the coasters. Every piece designed to tell the same story.

Then came photography and video. Cocktails, spaces, details, atmosphere. Content designed for social media but with a quality that is in no way inferior to any venue on the Costa del Sol. From day one, Old Fashioned had a feed that looked like it had taken years to build.

And alongside the content, the strategy: social media management, online advertising to amplify the launch, and constant work on Google reputation—responding to every review, building trust review by review.

The numbers speak for themselves, but behind each one lies a strategic decision. The over 2,000 followers didn't come from massive advertising – they came from content that truly connected with the people of Marbella. The over 300 5-star reviews aren't by chance – they are the result of an experience designed to surprise and proactive management of every opinion.
